After visiting world heritage in Müstair, we stopped by at a cafe in Santa Maria. It's a popular cafe in this village.
Very simple village cafe I have ever seen! It's like a part of someone's home.
I ordered hot chocolate. (small cockie was served together!)
and chocolate banana! In mountain where the teperature is minus 10 degree, I have to take many chocolates..
It was actually very good, the sandwitch of half sliced banana, bisquit and jam, coated by chocolate.
quick break in the middle of no where. Warmed me up very much.
Caffee con Leche. This is the most popular coffee in Spain, which means Coffee with Milk. Almost same as Cafe Latte, but no foam. In England, this type of coffee is called "Wet Latte". (foamed latte is dry!)
I love coffee in Spain. I think bean itself is very tasty and strong. Matches perfectly with Milk and well balanced. Not too milky but not bitter.
My favorite breakfast. Croissant is very soft and sweet. Only one is good enough for me. It is very filling. You could often get 100% fresh orange juice.
There was Starbucks on the corner but if you are in Spain, it really doesn't make sense going Starbucks. Here, you can experience traditional spanish Cafe-Bar with typical Spanish snacks and foods in friendly atmosphere. Churro is also popular snack in Spain. They often soak the Churro in thick hot chocolate.
Breakfast in Galicia. Here, you can get sugar flavoured Croissant. The coffee I could get here is was served in a tall glass but not Late Macchiato.
It was another classic cafe-bar. Old man who look professional Barista make tasty noise of Espresso Machine all the time.
When the weather is nice, just take coffee outside.
HAPPY COFFEE BREAK!
